    Kite254 offers kitesurfing lessons for every level on the beautiful shores of Africa’s leading beach destination. Diani Beach is a tropical kite destination with consistent trade winds 6 months of the year and warm weather conditions all year around. Our lessons are all done with radios and held by IKO-certified instructors with the latest Ozone Kitesurf equipment.

  • Equipment Rentals

    Equipment rentals are available to those of you, who can already ride at a fully independent level. Maybe you didn’t want to travel with your own equipment or you might not have your own quiver yet. All rentals come with beach assistance such as set up, launching & landing and packing the equipment at the end of the day. Kites and Boards are from Ozone, harnesses are from Prolimit. Partial rentals are available.

  • Kite Storage

    Not staying right on the beach? Or still a bit nervous about going out on your own?! No problem. You can safely store your equipment at our centre and avoid having to travel with it to the spot every day. You will enjoy the benefits of the great kite community at Kite254. It’s a vibe!

It all begins with an idea.

If you are not sure yet if kitesurfing is your thing and if you want to commit yourself to an entire kitesurfing beginner’s course during your vacation in Diani Beach, then you should try it during our Taster Session. Within the 2.5 hrs class, you will learn about weather and wind theory, setting up the kite, the 3-level safety system, flying a small trainer kite on the beach and doing basic piloting exercises in hip- to waist-deep water with the tube kite. This will give you a good feel for the sensation of flying a kite and whether you want to continue with a complete course.

The costs are 100$ p.p. for a semi-private class (2 students, 1 instructor, sharing 1 kite) and 175$ p.p. for a 2.5 hrs private class. Costs include all the equipment.
